Meet Nicole
Once a Maui destination wedding bride myself, I know exactly what it’s like planning a wedding from afar. Living in Long Beach, California at the time, I embarked on planning my own destination wedding in Maui based purely on trust in my wedding planner. Having never been to Maui before, it was a huge, exciting leap of faith and it turned out to be my absolute dream come true.
After spending two glorious weeks on Maui, this magical island captured our hearts and my husband and I started talking about how amazing it would be to live here. After we were home for about a week, we decided that we had to follow our hearts and bought two one-way tickets back to Maui; 10-months later we were full-time residents. That was 15-years ago (!!) and we haven’t looked back since.
I immediately dove into the world of weddings here on Maui and have been working hand-in-hand with destination wedding Brides, Photographers and Wedding Planners ever since. After more than 15 years on the front lines of Event Planning, Rêve was born. I found that my true passion lies in serving Wedding Planners and Brides in the design aspect of event planning. Through Rêve, the joy that I have found in helping to produce a cohesive tabletop design through transitions of color, texture and material genuinely feeds my soul. I pride myself on creating lasting relationships and truly caring about the hard work that goes into every single wedding that I am a part of.
I absolutely LOVE what I do and can honestly say that I am truly living my dream.
About Rêve
All of our products are hand-dyed, torn, fringed, pressed or sewn by me in my Maui studio. I’m constantly searching for beautiful fabrics and collaborating with the best Wedding Planners on the island to bring something new and exciting to the world of weddings here on Maui. All products are rentals and are not available for purchase with the exception of Silk Ribbon which is, of course, yours to keep.
